Anyone got some suggestions, regarding this topic, that could assist newer breeders.

How do you stop it? All ideas and suggestions gratefully received.

I ve heard adding a small amount of salt to the soft can stop it but have never tried this myself. The only time it has happened to me was earlier on this year and it was a hen on her third round and she had five chicks in the box and never had a history of this before but with a bit of advice even though it was the hen that was plucking the chicks i removed the cock and she continued to feed them with no further plucking.
