Right all you genetic experts out there, i have a opaline greygreen hen that iv been told is split for blue. How do i prove this-im a bit dim about these matters.

Pair it to a blue Duncan, if you produce blues then the bird is split for blue. If all the birds produced are green then it's not, but all the offspring produced will be split for blue.

Understand, is there any other colour hens that can carry hidden colours or does that apply only to greens.
