hi tommy i use the standard flomatic drinkers and when chicks are ready to fledge i put another drinker on the bottom rail of the breeding cage/regards willies french moult theme i dont think its french moult reason being french moulters dont normally grow full sets of feathers back in/french moult hits all feathers on a chick and shows up when chicks are in nest box/as willie says its thought to be a virus  and is aeromonus /chicks that drop flights which i am sure is not getting to the water quick enough tend to regrow the flights back in quick time so therefor rules out in my opinion lack of nutrition from parents davy

Cheers Davy for confirmation ,was thinking along the lines of deficiency ,have added flomatic drinkers to inside of breeding cages so that they are at floor level ,hopefully that will be the answer to the problem
